Our Property Tax Consultancy
Department represents clients in lodging objections to the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS)
in regard to property tax assessments and re-assessments and appeals before the
Valuation Review Board.
Our Past Accomplishments:
- As
property tax consultant to a major developer in Singapore. Achieved
property tax savings in excess of S$6.0 million for the clients.
- As
property tax consultant to a major financial institution and reduced
its property tax liability in excess of S$3.1 million.
- Property
consultant and property tax consultant to a major developer. Achieved cost
savings in excess of S$2.6 million.
- Represented
a corporate client in its objection to the Chief Assessor of the Inland
Revenue Authority of Singapore regarding the Chief Assessor's
re-assessment of the client's huge car-park. Successfully negotiated a
significant reduction of its annual value.
- Resolved
property tax appeals of a few kiosks in a large shopping centre on behalf
of a corporate client.
- Represented
two corporate clients in their appeals to the Valuation Review Board. Was
successful in both appeals.
